After what seems like an eternity, the long-needed left-hand turn arrow at the intersection of Wynnewood Rd. at Lancaster Ave. should be operational soon. The contractor has installed the necessary signal hardware and we are hoping it will be working soon.
The WCA has been advocating for this improvement for years and now, thanks to the efforts of State Rep. Tim Briggs, township officials, and Kimco Realty (developer of the Whole Foods site) the new signal is finally a reality.
The new left turn arrow signal will facilitate left turns onto Lancaster Ave. (towards Lankenau Hospital) for traffic headed south on Wynnewood Rd. and should ease congestion and improve safety at that intersection.
