Notice from LMSB: The Board of School Directors will hold a special public meeting next Monday, April 4 at 7 PM in the District Administration Building Board Room to review and discuss strategies related to addressing enrollment growth. The meeting is part of extensive, ongoing efforts to plan for increasing enrollment across the District.
Earlier this month, the District introduced a “partner school” plan (click here for more information) that would keep elementary class sizes at target levels by enrolling some new elementary registrants at schools with available capacity. On Monday, the Board and public will have an opportunity to learn about additional strategies related to facilities, school enrollment boundaries and class size targets, among others. Members of the public are welcome to attend and provide comment.
