After what seems like an eternity, the long-needed left-hand turn arrow at the intersection of Wynnewood Rd. at Lancaster Ave. went operational on April 23.
The WCA has been advocating for this improvement for years and now, thanks to the efforts of State Rep. Tim Briggs, township officials, and Kimco Realty (developer of the Whole Foods site) the new signal is finally a reality.
The new left turn arrow signal facilitates left turns onto Lancaster Ave. (towards Lankenau Hospital) for traffic headed south on Wynnewood Rd. and should ease congestion and improve safety at that intersection and surrounding neighborhoods.
