Just a quick reminder that with September 1, Labor Day, being a holiday, trash will be collected on an adjusted schedule. Look here to see when you should put out your trash!
If you are getting the clean up itch to tidy your garage, basement, attic, etc. plan on taking advantage of these big trash days:
Saturday, October 11th & Sunday, October 12th
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
at the Lower Merion Public Works Complex
1300 N Woodbine Avenue, Penn Valley
610-667-1952 or 610-667-1953
Dispose of your unwanted refuse and recyclables — household appliances, textiles, plastic, glass, newsprint, and plain old trash — without charge!
Proof of residency is required (such as a driver’s license).
Township crews will help residents unload.
Recyclable material must be separated from other household trash.
Take advantage of the Township’s recycling drop-off center. Recycle mixed paper, textiles and commingled items.
Three non-profit organizations will have representatives on hand to collect unwanted computers, bicycles, furniture, clothing and more:
Harmonious Volunteer Center (furniture, toys, clothing)
E Force (computers, electronics, TVs)
Neighborhood Bike Works (bicycles)
