Wow — time flies! Sorry the blog has not been updated for awhile! Anyway, good things are happening now that spring is really here, our Wynnewood community is blooming and looking beautiful, and Aqua seems like it really might finish the water line project before summer begins. Now — if we could only get our roads properly paved but more on that issue in a future post.
Good news about our May Wynnewood Civic Association Board Meeting. It’s being held jointly with our sister civic associations, Merion and Gladwyne, at the beautiful Merion Tribute House, 625 Hazelhurst Avenue, in Merion Station on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 7:30 PM. Parking is in the rear of the building, and all are invited to attend. The program will be very interesting as we welcome Lower Merion School Superintendent, Dr. Christopher McGinley, who will be holding a “community conversation” with members of the three civic associations to discuss the state of our Lower Merion schools.
This should be a very interesting evening and a fun one too! We rarely have the chance to meet with members of other civic associations so it will be great to hear what’s happening in other areas of our township. Join us, meet your neighbors and become involved in the life of the community in which you live.
