City Ave District has been working on a Landscape Master Plan to identify opportunities to enhance the pedestrian experience on both the Philadelphia and Lower Merion Township sides along City Avenue. The Landscape Master Plan will focus on the area between the intersection at Presidential Boulevard (by I-76) and Wynnewood Rd (just past 63rd Street).
You are invited to an Open House event to give input and share ideas through interactive stations to let us know what the pedestrian experience of City Avenue should be. The Open House is on Thursday, September the 14th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at One Belmont Avenue (inside the lobby training room) during the Bala Cynwyd Farmers’ Market. The district has been working alongside Salt Design Studio and Connect the Dots, whom will both be present at the open house.
