The LM School Board has approved a 3.55 tax raise, bringing the school budget just shy of the quarter BILLION dollar mark. The last several years have seen similar tax hikes:
a property that has an assessed value of $250,680 will have a tax burden going from $6,351 in the 2014-15 year to $6,576 or an increase of $225.

If the trend of 3.5% tax increases continues, 10 years from now, a $250,000 home will go from a current bill of 6K to more than 8K. Here is a full write up on the passed budget.
